Katelyn's 4th Birthday

Katelyn turned 4 on June 4. She had a princess party at her house. Neil and I were so excited to get to go spend time with her and our family.
This is a picture of Katelyn with her brother and cousins. Look at those party hats!

I love this picture. My sister-in-law hates for people to take pictures of her. Katelyn and Karen look so cute!

This is my kind of girl! She got a guitar in her lap and riding on her hot wheel. What a life.

Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birtday to you, Happy Birthday dear Katelyn, Happy Birthday to you!

Katelyn is enjoying playing with her Uncle Neil! Happy Birtday sweet girl!

More Pictures

This is our bedroom. We still haven't put up any pictures in here. We might get some up before we move.

This is the spare bedroom/storage room. It is nice and has a big closet to store all the unused wedding gifts.

Here is the bathroom. We are adjusting to have one bathroom. My mom and sister came to visit a few weeks ago and it was different with everyone sharing one bathroom. Neil's sister and husband and some of our nieces and nephews are coming this weekend, so it will be a tight squezze. But we love having family and friends come visit with us!

Our New Place

I finally took a few pictures of our new place. This is our kitchen, please excuse the clutter. We are still working on finding a place for everything.

This is our living room, den, family room. Everybody has different names for it. Can you see our food storage under the futon? Hey, this place is smaller than the last, so we had to use every available space. It works well.
We are slowly getting use to living on Princess Lane. After we get rid of the sugar ants, life will be much better!

I absolutely HATE moving!!!

Neil and I spent the weekend moving. All last week I worked on packing all the boxes and labeling each and was very careful with everything that I packed. Then we ran out of boxes. So, walmart bags came in handy for kitchen things. Everything that could go wrong when moving happened! I was packing up the kitchen an hour before our friends were coming to help us move, the landlord didn't get our place cleaned up from the previous person, so Neil and I had a late night of cleaning the night before we moved in, when we went to move our stuff in the maintenance man was painting the living room...we had to work around painted walls, we have ants we're still fighting to get rid of, we had to invest in a fly swatter because we let flys in while moving in furniture, the person before us scheduled to turn the power off on Friday which meant we paid an extra fee for them to turn the power back on, do you know that every place in Statesboro charges "transfer fees" to change your address from one place to another (when they don't even do anything, but type your new address into the computer) and Neil and I have too much JUNK! I'm quite jealous that Neil gets to go to work and school, while I have to unpack boxes and clean up. However, I got some great advice from my mother during our whole moving ordeal..."Look on the brightside Kimberly, it couldn't get any worse". Thanks mom for your encouragment! The best part of moving was getting to spend time with Neil's parents who came and helped us move and clean!!! Thanks Daddy Gene and Mama Diann!
