Can We Say Sleepy....

I never knew that Disney World put kids to sleep! A little fresh air, some walking, some ice cream, a little waiting, and there out! When your kids can't sleep...go to Disney World!

It's a small world put Little Corey right to sleep. Kyla didn't last long either.

Ryan got tired later waiting for the Country Bear Jamboree.

Ryan and Kyla both fell asleep before the spectro-magic parade started! What can you expect...it was 11:00pm!

Katelyn went through the whole park without blinking! She didn't dare close her eyes... she was afraid she might miss something. When we got in the car that night after 12:00pm, she fell asleep about a minute later!

DISNEY WORLD

My family went to Orlando, Florida during my spring break. We had so much fun together! Neil didn't get to go because he had work and school. If he was there along with my brother, his wife, and my new niece it would have been PERFECT. However, it was a nice treat to get to spend time with my nieces and nephews! This picture of Katelyn, Corey, Ryan, and Kyla was taken on Minnie's couch. Look at the matching shirts...my mom thinks of everything and is just too cute!

I love this picture of us! We saw Mickey's 3-D show. We couldn't pass up the opportunity to get us stylin' in our 3-D glasses! Kyla wasn't so sure about the glasses though.

Taking four little ones to Disney World was quite hilarious. My sister and I put the four kids in the back of the van and we rode to Orlando with three little ones (Kyla just says Dadadada and Mamama) discussing what Mickey Mouse was doing at that very moment.

This is dad, mom, and Kyla riding the ferry boat getting ready for a fun filled day of Disney World.
If you notice we are getting a little later in the day. Everyone got a little sleepy and hot. We were waiting in line for one of the many rides we rode.
We saw Minnie Mouse at the spectro-magic parade. Besides going to Disney World, we also ate at the Rainforest Cafe, went to the temple, did some shopping and swimming, and laughed a lot. I'll try to post some more pictures of the trip soon. Dad said we are going to make family trips a yearly thing, so watch out world...The Pittman Family will be on vacation in another year!

We're MOVING

This past Wednesday our landlord met with us and told us that he sold the trailer that we are renting and we needed to be out in a month. After Neil expressed his concerns he decided that we could have two months to find a new place and move. So, now we are on the hunt for another place to live. We have 1 more year in Statesboro and this will be our second move. Get the boxes out because here we go again!

Aren't They CUTE???

Here is Brandon, Payton, Kaylen, Logan, and Emma. Neil and I are trying to get everyone to look in the right direction! Emma and Logan would rather play with all the toys!
This is Katelyn and Corey. Katelyn wanted Papa to sit with her instead of Corey. She was trying to get Papa's attention, which turned out to be quite a cute picture. This is Corey's usually "What are you doing?" face...
This is Ryan and Kyla. Ryan tries really hard to be gentle with Kyla. That's why I like this picture so much! Kyla is more interested in eating the chair!
This is our newest niece, Elena! She is too cute with cheeks just like her daddy! We can't wait to get to spend some more time with her this summer!

These are all of our nieces and nephews. We are rounding out at 10! They are such CUTE kids. They all have very different personalities and are extremely FUNNY! We love getting to spend time with them.

Real Men Read

Last week was America Reads week. My school came up with the theme, "Real Men Read". We were concerned that some of our children do not get good male role models who encourage them to read, so we wanted to give that to our students last week.

I couldn't bring myself to ask Neil to come again to help, so I called in reinforcements and called my dad. He agreed to come and read to my kids with only a little bit of begging involved. My students loved him. I couldn't get them calmed down. They all wanted to hug him and talk to him. He was a big hit! My kids are already asking me when he can come back. So THANKS DAD for supporting me, as usual!!!

Elena's Blessing

Neil and I went to Brunswick last week for Elena's (our niece) blessing. We love getting to spend time with our family, especially all the little ones. Elena's dress was absoluetly beautiful. My sister-in-law made it with some help from her family. Our family pictures continue to get bigger and with more children, it's a lot harder to get everyone to look in one direction at the same time. We had a lot of fun visiting and getting lots of little hugs and kisses.

Gatlinburg, Tenneessee

Neil and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary by going to Gatlinburg, Tenneessee. Every summer our family went on vacation to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, TN. I got to show Neil where we use to go and what we did. We stayed in a cabin on the side of a mountain. It was absoluetly beautiful. We celebrated New Years Eve on the porch of our cabin trying to find the fireworks. On the morning that we were leaving, we woke up to find snow! Not a lot, but enough for us who grew up in South Georgia to play in. We look forward to going back!
