2 weeks and 5 days
2 weeks and 5 days, that's what the doctor said. I had another appointment today and was praying that something or anything was happening to give me encouragement that our little girl is coming soon. I was nervous because everyone keeps asking me about contractions. I've had a little pressure, but nothing to let me know that she's coming. The doctor reassured me that I was thinning out (sorry if that is too much information) and that most first time moms are a week early or a week late. He must have seen my disappointment because he said, "Let's look on the bright side, you only have 2 weeks and 5 days until your due date". I've been looking at it all wrong saying I'm this many weeks now, not how many weeks and days I have left. So, now I'm counting down, not up! He said let's try another week of you working and I bet she'll be here before you know it! I have two baby showers this next week, so at least I'll get to go to my showers! It has been harder just within the last week because I know she is healthy and it's fine for her to come. It's all the aches, heartburn, lack of sleep (due to bathroom runs, midnight snacks, and not enough pillows in the world to make me comfy), and lack of energy that gets me down. I asked Neil the other night if there was a time before I was pregnant when I didn't have a complaint about something hurting. He said yes, but Addison will be worth all of it! So, my new advice for myself...count down, not up!

3 1/2 more weeks
We are getting close to March 10! We went to the doctor today. I am exactly 361/2 weeks. We had an ultrasound and the baby is weighing 6 pounds and 2 ounces (give or take a pound). Addison again would not sit still for the tech. We got one picture of her this time with her hand over her face. You could see her nose and she has my (the Pittman) nose. Her Papa Pittman will be proud! I was surprised that she weighed as much as she did, but the doctor reassured me that he won't let her get too big! We are trying to get all the last minute things together, especially with my job, before she comes. After this weekend, we're hoping to be ready to go to the hospital at any time!!!

Our Baby Shower in Brunswick
Last weekend, Neil and I went to Brunswick. My sister, sisters-in-law, and mom threw Neil and I a shower at my mom's house. Neil spent quality time with my brother and our nieces and nephew, while us girls enjoyed the shower. He wanted to come, but he got voted out! I was very hesitant about having a shower back home because I left home almost five years ago for school. I have many special women that I will always look up to and that I share stories of often from home. I am blessed to have many "adopted" grandparents from church that I can't wait to bring Addison to meet. Brunswick will always be special to me because of the friends and memories that I have. Neil, Addison, and I were all spoiled with so many gifts! I enjoyed getting to see everyone again! Addison will make her first trip to Brunswick hopefully in April!
This is my sister, Melisa and I. Everyone always tells us that we look alike, but I never thought we did. However, after looking at this picture, I realized we look A LOT alike! She has been bombarded with all my pregnancy/baby questions, emotions, and excitement throughout the last almost nine months. She has helped me so much by just listening. I wish we lived closer, especially so we could enjoy each other's children more. Thanks, Sis. I love you!
Here is all the girls! We are not picture people. You can take pictures of the kids all day long, but we would be happy to stay out of the way of the camera! Thanks for humoring me and letting me get a picture! We love you and can't thank you enough for everything! We are ready for you all to meet your new granddaughter and niece!!!

This is my Aunt Jayne and my Mom (sisters). They look alike too. It has always been funny to my sister and I that we look more like my aunt than our mom and our cousin looks more like my mom than her mom.

Happy Birthday Ryan!
Our nephew, Ryan, will turn 5 on Saturday! He is going to Disney World for his actual birthday, so we celebrated his birthday a little early at my mom's house! I still can't believe that he will be five!
Ryan is all boy! He loves cars, trucks, boats, tractors, etc. He's a very bright child with LOTS of energy. He is always on the go and ready for another adventure and I love when he stops for a minute to give his Aunt Kimmy some hugs! He stole his Uncle Neil's heart the minute he met him! Happy Birthday Big Boy!!! We love you!

Side note: I love my mom's dog, Spencer. My mom got him two years before I left home for school. He was a puppy when we got him and I just fell in love with him. He can be quite a pest (especially because he's a licker), but he always gets so excited when I come home to visit. I promise he remembers me living there. Anyways, my mom got me a stuffed poodle that looks like Spencer for me to take off to school. Here is a picture of the "real" Spencer and my "home away from home" Spencer!
